Balesin Island produces an ample supply of water from the rains using our runway as a catchment system. This collected water is distributed to our six water impounding lagoons and treated using our triple-filtration water purification system. Balesin has two desalination plants—one produces 200 cu.m. per day while the other one produces 400 cu.m. of fresh water daily.
Water and electrical infrastructure are located underground. Balesin also utilizes a solar power system.
