Island Transportation

In line with Balesin's aim of sustainability, the Club limits the number of cars for use on the island. Members and guests can use the following to visit the villages, spa, leisure areas, sports facilities, beaches, entertainment venues and scenic points:

1. Jeepneys, vans, and coasters are the general mode of transportation on the island. To request one, just call your village reception area. These are available 24 hours a day.
2. Golf carts are available for rent at the Clubhouse
3. Island bicycles are available for rent at the Sports Center

Medical Center

The island has its own emergency medical center with an on-island doctor, located at the Clubhouse. Island personnel are also trained in medical emergency evacuation procedures should the need arise. Defibrillators are on hand at various locations on the island in case of cardiac emergencies. Emergency air transportation back to Luzon is readily available.

With the ongoing pandemic, COVID-19 vaccines and booster are highly recommended.

Water and Electrical Power

Balesin Island Club produces an ample supply of water from the rains using our runway as a “catch.” This collected water is distributed to our six water impounding lagoons and treated using our triple-filtration water purification system. Balesin has two desalination plants—one produces 200 cu.m. per day while the other one produces 400 cu.m. fresh water daily.

Water and electrical infrastructure is located underground.

Transformers and adapters are available upon request from housekeeping, in case you need to use any 110-volt appliances.
